Auto Stitch Your Music within Adobe Premiere Pro
Synchronizing music just right within your video can be done in a few different ways. You can make several cuts and adjust to the cut or even take the audio clip and shorten it to match the length of your video. The problems that arise here can be the long editing time or the sacrifice of music that you lose when you shorten the audio clip to match the video length. With the Remix tool in Adobe Premiere Pro, you can save time and also export a quality video with a precise music track.
With the remix tool you can take your original music track and have it condensed to fit your video track with the click of your mouse; it’s that easy. Reallocate your time back to exploring your video and adding those extra effects or refining small details that you didn’t have time for before.
How Do I Use This Remix Tool?
To access the remix feature, navigate to the Essential Sound Panel > Select Music > turn on the Duration Section, then select Remix. Just below, you can type in your desired target duration. Awesome update to this tool is that you can go to the toolbar and find the new remix tool. Finish it up by clicking on the end of the music track and dragging the clip to the left in order to meet the end of your video. No more compromising your music track or headaches from cutting clips.
Consideration for Instrumentation
Should you find yourself needing to make adjustments to your music based on instrumentation, you can take care of this with a slide to the left or right in the Features option; which is located under Edit Length in the Essential Sound Panel. Setting the features slider to Harmonies (on the right), would apply for many instruments. Setting your slider to the left (closer to Timbre) will be best for solos or a single instrument. The Edit Length option makes adjustments as well, however the edit length slider will pertain to the number of cuts in the audio track while the Remix tool was used.
